Starting today, I won’t be able to go online as much as before. Aside from the fact that I prefer it that way, I have to beat a couple of deadlines at work. Tapos yung internet pa namin nagloloko. Before DSL kame kaso konting ulan lang, nadidisconnect naman. Then kapag tinopak na, tuloy tuloy na. So, we switched to Smartbro. All is well so far. We’re using the wireless connection sa desktop then yung plug-in internet sa laptop. Hinihintay na lang namin umulan para malaman namin kung okay ba talaga, haha. Sana lang stable na kasi hinde buo ang araw ng mga kasama ko dito sa bahay kapag hinde nakakapag online games. Yung tipong ako pa naghihintay sa kanilang matapos para makagamit ako ng laptop. Nyaha.

My work’s getting demanding nowadays. Time, energy, thoughts, and all. I’m always on the project field then I still need to drop by at the office to do some panel reporting. Aside from that silly crap, meron pang mga take home na floor plans na kailangang i-Autocad. Our new boss is not as cool as Miss Ferrer kaya hinde na pwede pairalin mga kalokohan namin, haha. Mahilig syang mamigay ng memo na para bang namimigay lang sya ng flyers and pamphlets during election days. Buti na lang hinde nya pa ko nabibigyan kahit isa, peborit nya siguro ako. Ehem ehem.

Tsaka waaaa may isa pa kong kailangang asikasuhin. My fucking license! Like all regular licenses, its expiration date is the same as my birthday which was last August 14 pa. Nakakatamad naman kasi pumila, ang haba haba lage amp. Minsan pumunta na ko dun before ako nagbirthday, kaso pagpasok ko pa lang sa gate umatras na ko kasi nakita ko yung pila sobrang haba. Tsk taena talaga, baket ba ko pinanganak na tamad. Wala akong tyaga sa mga ganyan. Naisip ko tuloy, patulan ko kaya mga fixers? Kaso baka mapeke naman ako, doble perwisyo pa. Asikasuhin ko na lang when I’m free. Kelan yun? That I don’t know still, haha. Basta I need to accomplish it the soonest time possible. Kung pwede lang sanang magpadala ng proxy, kaso hinde pwede. I have to affix my signature upon renewing. Haaay iniisip ko pa lang, tinatamad na naman ako.

Bahala na. Sana matapos ko lahat ng kailangan kong tapusin. Wala munang gimik, inom, at kung ano ano pang extra curricular activities. Wahaha. Ako’y magbabalik sa tamang panahon. Huwaw lupet. Oo nga pala, I’ll be using my mobile internet once in a while.

This article was actually inspired by a comment from an unknown girl who lives by the name Shannah, saying that I’m a certified flirt. Haha. That’s funny. I don’t even know her, or I do? Heck if I’m sure of it. I don’t care.

I admit that most people who know me dearly can readily translate my name into that F word. They define me as a classic example of a modern flirt. Alright, that’s fine. Maybe a person who flirts like there’s no tomorrow can be labeled as a horned flirt in some context but what I wanna say, really, is that flirts are just alerts! They know when to act the way they do & they can easily detect one who is, too. Like me.

I know I’m not perfect and no one will ever see me as one. Point of the matter is, being a flirt has its ups and downs. One would never get to be taken seriously when your reputation precedes your true motive. But flirts, most of the time, get the juice. And that, is one of the major truths in life, we can’t deny.

I am a flirt, that’s a satisfying fact. But that’s not the complete truth. As I have read in some great book by Greg Iles, facts need not necessarily be the whole truth. The fluid truth is: I can be a flirt at some level & I can be true to my feelings when I have to.

Give tagged flirts the chance to prove themselves. We are never always flirts, anyway. We also know when to behave like real lovers do. Flirting has levels of intensity and I need not explain it here. We all have our own personal metric for this. We may all have flirted at some point. And nobody stays as one for life. One has to settle down at some point in time. Finding the other half, is the exact reason.

What we should do then is try to flirt at the right places, at the right time, with the correct person. Whether your motive be sexual or something less mundane, what matters is that one should be held responsible for his or her own actions. Responsible flirting? Amen. That’s not too impossible, I guess.

Flirts, in conclusion, aren’t real devils after all. They just know how to tease.
